Driven by a mission to make women look and feel beautiful, sisters Jen and Stacey set out to create a line of high-quality, nature-friendly, and affordable makeup brushes. In 2007, after sourcing recycled materials, renewable bamboo, and better manufacturing processes, EcoTools was born.

This year, as we celebrate EcoTools' 10th anniversary, we're proud to introduce a fresh new look, brushes that feel even better in your hands, and packaging with detailed tutorials to help you create a beautiful look from head to toe. To mark this milestone, we're also making a $100,000 donation to Glamour's The Girl Project through our #MyTrueBeauty campaign, supporting women's empowerment and encouraging women to become the best version of themselves.

We believe in giving new purpose to old things, which is why our products are made from recycled aluminum and plastic, and our packaging is crafted from 100% Tree-Free paper, with a blend of 20% cotton and 80% bamboo fibers. The handles of our products are made from renewable bamboo, one of the fastest-growing plants on the planet.

Our brush cleaner is easy to use and long-lasting, naturally cleaning and conditioning your applicators to restore their soft and gentle form without leaving an oily residue behind. It's water-based, free of parabens, phthalates, petroleum, and perfume, and is hypoallergenic and dermatologist-tested, made with gentle, plant-based ingredients.

To use the brush cleaner, simply dampen the bristles with lukewarm water, squeeze a small amount of shampoo onto the brush, and gently rub the bristles between your fingers to create a light lather. Rinse thoroughly, continuing until the water runs clear. Squeeze out the excess water, reshape the brush, and lay it flat to dry – never stand the brush upright.
